About Susan Krinsky

I joined the Law School Admission Council staff in September 2018 as Director of Enrollment Management and became Vice President and Chief of Staff in January 2019. In December 2019, I added responsibility for LSAC's Candidate Services segment as Senior Vice President for Candidate Services. My enrollment management role involved working with our data and reports group and the associate director of enrollment management to develop enrollment management tools and enrollment consulting services for law school admission offices. My other responsibilities include oversight of various governance activities, management of executive leadership team meetings, coordination of the Executive Leadership Team, and oversight of LSAC's test administration and credential processing groups. As Executive VP of Operations, I work with all operational boundaries including Candidate Services, Technology, Human Resources, Learning and Assessments, Law School Engagement, Prelaw Engagement, and Finance. From 2013 to 2018, I served as Associate Dean for Student Affairs at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, with responsibility for the delivery of services and programmatic support to 800+ law students. In this role, I oversaw all aspects of student life, including the offices of admissions, registration, student affairs, and career development. The position required coordination with, input into, and responsibility for implementing projects or initiatives in the academic, curricular, and administrative areas. I also served as the School of Law's representative in campus-wide student affairs matters. In 2016, I began to oversee the Communications department at the law school, with responsibility for a website transition, production of the alumni magazine, and production of various other promotional materials and brochures and newsletters. Previously, I served as dean of admissions at Tulane Law School, beginning in 1982. In addition to responsibilities for recruiting and filling the class each year, I also oversaw the award of merit-based scholarships and had responsibility for producing admission-related publications, and I managed website content. Since 2001, I also managed the Career Development Office at Tulane Law School.
