About Susan Linnan Spelker

I enthusiastically embrace my new position with the Boy Scouts Of America as District Executive, The Fires District. New position in a new field! I am so looking forward to my scouting adventure! My history: I have worked in higher education for the last seventeen years. The first five of those years were spent in a business office involving student financials, budgeting, payroll, and cash handling. I’m proficient in Microsoft Office, Colleague, Winprism, Banner, and Target X. My passion is helping others reach their goals. I spent ten years managing the bookstore in a multi-cultural diverse environment devoting myself to that mission. Teaching, mentoring, and helping students in any way that I could. During that time, I have served as union steward, trustee, vice president. I have also served my community as a board member and finance chairperson for the Commerce Township DDA.
