Background

About Susan Low

I'm a connector and facilitator who believes deeply in the power of inclusive processes to create equitable well-being. I am passionate about British Columbia and making this a place where everyone has opportunity to thrive. I love designing and facilitating dialogues that get the whole system in the room, as much as possible. In meetings or presentations, I'm often seen sketching visual representations of ideas or concepts. I like to connect information and ideas in new and innovative ways. My career has taken me from the ups and downs of entrepreneurship to the trenches of government policy work. The common thread has been pursuing my core values of justice and fairness for people, and making the world a better place. I care about the outcome of what I do, and want to spend my time working with a team that has a bold vision and a deeper cause. Alongside my career adventures, I am extremely passionate about sewing and fashion design! I make nearly all of my clothing as well as my family's wardrobes, and I'm very involved in the online and local sewing communities. In the summer you'll also find me out on the water in my rowing shell training for local and international competitions.
