Senior Medical Sales Representative with over 20 years experience across a wide range of therapeutic areas. I am currently promoting three products within haematology/oncology and the anti-infective area, covering all hospitals in the 26 counties of Ireland. A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, proven sales record and a solid background in science. Currently employed by Gilead Sciences in the areas of Haematology/Oncology and anti-infectives, providing a professional liason with all the relevant personnel working mainly in Haematology/Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant, solid organ transplant, microbiology, infection control, pharmacy and intensive care. In my previous employment with BioFact Pharma, I promoted all the hospital pharmaceutical products (4) covering the 26 counties, with emphasis on maternity hospitals and Haem/Onc Day Wards. This provided and excellent working knowledge of many therapeutic areas, including Haematology, Oncology, Microbiology, Intensive Care, Nephrology, Urology, Surgeons (general and others), Gasteroenterology, Geriatrics, Laboratory staff and A&E. First employed to sell a new Anti-D which had never been promoted in Ireland until then and within 2 years, I had switched over 90% of the maternity hospitals to that product.
