House, Small Buildings, Large Buildings, Complex Buildings, Building Services, Power Lighting and Detection • C.B.C.O Small-Buildings certified • 9+ years as a Municipal Building Official with demonstrated abilities as a proficient plans examiner. • 10+ years working in architectural offices with demonstrated abilities to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil and landscape drawings, specifications and contracts. • 5+ years working in various construction trades, gaining knowledge in residential construction practices. • Member in good standing with the O.B.O.A. • Demonstrated ability to resolve code compliance issues through the implementation of a systematic approach to the plans examination of architectural, structural, and H.V.A.C. designs, and communicate with architects/designers, professional engineers and other design professionals. • Proficient in Bluebeam Revu, AMANDA and GIS mapping software. • Efficient problem solver with strong time management and organizational skills. • Work well independently or in a team environment.
