About Susan Oconnor

I’ve spent much of my career in corporate leadership, guiding large-scale global programs and working with people at every level of the organization. One truth became impossible to ignore: chronic stress and burnout were everywhere—often hidden but deeply felt. That experience led me to a new path. Today, as a Clinical Counselor and Mindfulness Educator, I’ve dedicated my work to helping individuals and groups heal from the very challenges I once witnessed so often in the workplace. Through my private practice, I now offer: 1:1 Counseling – for stress, anxiety, grief, trauma and life transitions. Group Programs – including: Burnout: Reduction of Chronic Stress Health & Wellness: Mindfulness-Based Reduction of Blood Pressure Bereavement: Grief & Loss Support Additionally, I offer collaboration with colleges and universities, offering workshops, group programs, and counseling support for faculty, and staff. My approach blends clinical expertise with lived experience. I understand the demands of high-pressure environments—and I know how to help people reclaim balance, resilience, and peace of mind.
