I take complex business content and deliver it to a broad audience in a way that is both relevant and accessible. Viewers, listeners, and clients characterize me as conversational and knowledgeable. My market and industry knowledge is built on my experience working in financial services. I have managed both institutional and high net worth portfolios. On the media side, my work as producer, on-air analyst, and assignment editor occurred in busy newsrooms with tight deadlines (strikingly similar to a trading desk). Experience? Check. Beyond my media skills, I have an extensive background in the financial services industry, where I worked in wealth management prior to making the shift to business broadcasting. Now I'm back in financial services using my media production expertise. Education? I've got that too. Ryerson awarded me an MA in Media Production. My studies focused on creating a unique career-planning tool for teens across a variety of media platforms. The catalyst to discovering work that I was meant for was a summer job during university at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. There, I learned to captivate an audience of diverse interests (and attention spans) by weaving topics about maritime history into stories that would resonate for the audience standing in front of me. This experience is the foundation of every project I have created, or contributed to, in my career.
