About Susan Redditt

My work at the University of Alaska, Westfield State University. MA, New England College, NH, Wheelock College, Boston, MA, Northern Essex Community College (Haverhill and Lawrence, MA) and Boston University has prepared me to engage with and collaborate effectively with multicultural, multiracial and multilingual groups. I am a generalist by design with extensive experience teaching across elementary, secondary, special education, community and higher education environments both face-to-face and online. As a qualitative researcher I have extensive experience with interviewing, data analysis and reporting. I currently consult and teach in urban educational settings. Additionally, I've used my TESOL certificate to work as an ESL educator with adult students from over twenty countries. Currently, I am attending an MSW program at Salem State University with a focus on trauma-informed service (graduation date August, 2021) and teach half-time at Wheelock College of Education and Human Development at Boston University. My recent teaching enhances students' knowledge, skills and dispositions in the areas of racial and cultural identities with an emphasis on intersectionality as it impacts teaching and learning, teacher and student civic engagement for social justice and family engagement in diverse educational communities. Recently, I've developed effective and engaging teaching processes via Zoom and hybrid models and am skilled in using Blackboard and Canvas course management software.
