About Susan Richey

As a passionate photographer and digital artist, I have built my career around crafting meaningful, story-driven visuals that highlight the beauty of pets, wildlife, and the natural world. My work is grounded in a deep commitment to conservation and animal welfare, blending creativity with a purpose to support non-profits and businesses that care about making a difference. I am the founder of Good Focused, a company dedicated to providing high-quality, royalty-free pet and wildlife photography. Our mission is to empower animal rescues and conservation organizations by delivering impactful images that resonate with their audiences and bring their stories to life. We also offer AI-driven conceptual imagery tailored for small pet businesses, providing creative, affordable visuals to help brands stand out. As co-founder of Adventure Artists International, I work to curate ethical, conservation-based travel experiences. Our goal is to promote responsible tourism by connecting adventurers with hands-on conservation projects and meaningful community outreach efforts. With a foundation in creative collaboration, I also founded Photo Fusion Studio, a cooperative space for independent artists in Scottsdale, AZ. Before diving into the creative sector, I spent over 20 years at Rocket Mortgage, where I held diverse roles, including Loan Underwriter and Business Analyst, bringing a wealth of experience in project management and strategy. Beyond my professional career, volunteering has always been a cornerstone of my work. I’ve been privileged to provide complimentary photography services to animal rescue groups through Good Focused’s rescue group photo program for over a decade. I’m continually seeking new opportunities to collaborate, create, and contribute to impactful, meaningful projects. Whether you're interested in discussing potential collaborations or learning more about my work, feel free to reach out—let’s make something great together.
