My work revolves around establishing the necessary structures that allow individuals with significant impairments to lead lives with opportunity, safety, and community engagement. I take pride in having initiated the community at Mustang Court Commons in Petaluma, a crucial project that leases land at a discounted price to Mustang Acres - a nonprofit farm promoting inclusivity among the broader neurodiverse population. With over 30 years of experience in state government, primarily in Public Health, I bring a wealth of knowledge for navigating bureaucracy, understanding the agencies involved, and the tenacity required to succeed. My educational background in Environmental Studies and Planning from Sonoma State University laid the groundwork for understanding how to deal with planning, land use, and zoning regulations. My passion for real estate was kindled when I purchased my first home at the age of 29. Ten years later, I obtained my real estate license, which has become a crucial tool in helping Living Unlimited provide housing opportunities for the neurodiverse community. In my past roles within government, I specialized in designing computer systems that streamline processes, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance data accuracy. As a pragmatic and unconventional thinker, I am always seeking new and flexible ways to solve problems and create success. My guiding principle is,"We are nothing if we are not flexible."
