About Susan Robb

Working with attorneys as a legal secretary is much like working as an executive assistant, providing support in different areas of law and to different individuals with varying and changing needs. Most of my years at Maslon LLP, I supported attorneys, worked as the HR Generalist and coordinated the other legal secretaries, all during the same period of time. I was also a consistent relief receptionist at the front desk. As the Legal Secretary Coordinator, I posted positions, screened and interviewed candidates, planned and assisted with their onboarding, as well as set up and/or provided on-going training for the assistants. More recently, as the Recruiting Coordinator, I also posted positions for professionals, set up screening and full interview schedules, and set up the orientation schedules. As the Recruiting Coordinator, I also planned and attended the summer associate programming and social activities, many attorney events, the annual attorney retreat, and some all firm events.As my resume indicates I possess my bachelor ’s degree with a Human Resources focus. Prior to obtaining my BA, I received certification as a Legal Secretary. I have several years of experience as a Legal Secretary/Legal Administrative Assistant, plus several years of Human Resources experience and four years of Recruiting experience. I have supported Attorneys, HR Directors and the Director of Recruiting & Professional Development during my time at Maslon LLP.
