About Susan Rowley

Susan Rowley is a Manager with the AICPA Peer Review Program (Program). She assists in the development, communication and implementation of standards, guidance, and training material for the Program, with the goal of enhancing the quality of accounting, auditing and attestation engagements performed by public accounting member firms. Susan has been with the Program for over 15 years. During that time, she has worked on peer review exposure drafts, served as the staff liaison to AICPA Peer Review Board (Board) task forces and committees, and performed peer review working paper technical reviews and oversights. She has worked closely with AICPA members who are typically their firm’s quality control experts, to resolve peer review and related quality control issues. Prior to joining the AICPA, Susan worked for 15 years in public accounting. She attended Queens College of the City University of New York where she graduated with Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting & Information Systems and Economics. Susan now resides in Bergen County, New Jersey.
