I currently work 2-days a week as School Secretary at St Hugh’s School, Woodhall Spa. This role is part of a job-share. I have extensive contact with parents, students and staff on a daily basis. The role is very varied but includes dealing with all incoming and outgoing correspondence, managing the admissions procedure, welcoming prospective parents and students to the school, ensuring that all outgoing correspondence is presented in a uniform fashion prior to sending, ensuring that all student/staff information held on ISAMS is kept up to date. I have also just completed Census for ISC and DfE. Working in a school, I am very aware of the importance of safeguarding and of the procedures that are in place and must be followed. I am an experienced administrator/secretary and have extensive experience of working with a variety of IT packages, including bespoke databases and school management systems. Whist I currently work in a school environment, I am an experienced PA/Executive Assistant with many years experience of working in the corporate sector in London and am well used to prioritising my workload, minute taking, conference organisation and have in the past been involved in recruiting departmental administrative staff as well as managing a team of contractors whist working in the property development sector.
