About Susan Snuffin

I will be graduating Rutgers University in May of 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. I am ambitious, focused, compassionate, and I have excellent communication skills. I chose a career in nursing because it allows for a constant pursuit of knowledge, emphasizes compassion, and encourages collaboration. Throughout my years at Rutgers University I have dedicated myself to the attainment of knowledge and experiences that will facilitate my career in nursing. I have become a member the Rutgers Newark Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau. Prior to attending Rutgers University, I attended Camden County College and held leadership roles in Phi Theta Kappa, Psi Beta, and the cross country team. In addition, I have acquired experience in various settings. Volunteering at Virtua Voorhees for one year I was able to enhance my communication skills. Working as a front desk receptionist at Kennedy Fitness and Wellness for two and a half years, I worked in many collaborative teams. Finally, I am currently a nurse associate at Cooper University Hospital, where I am able to work in interprofessional teams to deliver high quality care. Finally, upon graduation I hope to attain a nursing position that will allow me to continue to grow and develop. I will make a great addition to a team in a fast-paced environment, and I hope to make many contributions to the growth of the nursing profession.
