I have taught English for ten years in public high school and for ten years in higher education. My specialty is creative writing / poetry. I served as the managing editor of a national poetry journal of poem and criticism from 2013 to 2019 (Think). My poetry collection Beyond All Bearing was published by Wipf and Stock in 2018, and a poetry textbook Learning the Secrets of English Verse (with David J Rothman) is forthcoming from Springer.
