My love for finding and implementing solutions to problems is what drew me to a career in information technology. Along the way, I've discovered I have a knack for communicating with people (developers, analysts, users, managers) in a way tailored to their level of technical knowledge. I can also telescope my point of view from detail-focused to big-picture and back again as needed. Throughout my career, I have innovated solutions by- Conceiving new ways to organize, use, or analyze existing data- Exploring the application users’ perspective, using my findings to guide my problem solving- Designing software with an emphasis on reusability and efficiency- Diving deep into the problem at hand - brainstorming, researching, examining nuances, and narrowing down solutionsI have cultivated team success by- Initiating discussions about new ideas or concerns about current assumptions- Facilitating collaboration; exchanging solutions and differences of opinion in an atmosphere of trust and respect, within an agile project management framework- Communicating clearly and concisely; documenting frequently and organizing concepts to make it easy to spot the point
