About Susan Truskey

Susie Truskey is an attorney with the law firm of Walsh, Colucci, Lubeley & Walsh, P.C. as a member of the firm's Real Estate Transactions practice group. Her practice focuses on preparing and negotiating contracts, commercial leases, and the preparation of homeowners' and condominium association governing documents. She also works with clients to form all types of business entities and assist with real estate closings and commercial loan closings. Prior to joining Walsh, Colucci, Lubeley & Walsh, P.C, Susie spent more than 9 years representing condominium and homeowners’ associations throughout Virginia. She gained extensive experience serving as general counsel to community associations and assisting them with corporate governance, amendments to governing documents, land use matters, covenants interpretation and enforcement, litigation, and foreclosures.She has been an active member of the Washington Metropolitan Chapter Community Associations Institute where she was appointed to serve in various leadership positions and was a frequent contributor to the Chapter’s monthly print magazine. Susie obtained her law degree from The George Washington University Law School and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from James Madison University (Go Dukes!). Susie is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia and has been admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
