I have 35 years of experience as an RN in the Health Care setting - 8 years of direct patient care in acute care and 27 years of medical data management, analysis, and reporting. I have demonstrated my ability to work independently and professionally, communicate with multiple disciplines, manage multiple projects, problem solve and prioritize my workload. I have been abstracting data from the Epic EMR since 2008. My most recent experience is managing the Adult Cardiac Surgical database registry - an STS benchmarking registry (Society of Thoracic Surgeons - In 2001 I was responsible for implementing the STS ACSD registry at UW Hospital and clinics. This involved arranging the review of 5 certified STS vendors at UW hospital. The surgeons chose AXIS Clinical software I was then responsible for implementing the abstraction, quality review and reporting using the Axis Clinical software which we continue to use today. We now have 3.5 FTE employed using this STS registry.
