In my progressive career, I have designed and implemented robust import/export transportation strategies, ensuring process and performance improvement. It is always my keen focus to ensure procedural compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and SOPs. Moreover, I am equipped with in-depth knowledge of the waterfront industry (ocean). I streamline global logistics operations, including import/export management, while developing, leading, and coaching the high-performing teams. Some of my career highlights are: Implemented a Transportation Management Solution (TMS), driving significant savings with rate/freight optimization tools. Developed an LCL-to-FCL consolidation program at the port of Shanghai, Port of Antwerp, and Port of Miami, Florida for freight optimization. Saved cost over $60M in freight budget/cost avoidance by streamlining processes. Administered annual freight budget of over $60M for all international air/ocean freight, foreign-to-foreign, domestic LTL, FTL, and intermodal, with a keen focus on increasing profitability by implementing cost-effective approaches.
