I help business owners and managers overcome their blind-spots using analytics and integrating data on a map. I love helping service businesses make the best use of mapping technology and market analytics, whether working one-on-one with individual analysts or meeting with an entire group to talk about strategy and implementation steps. I am passionate about GIS as a data mining and visualization tool as well as a way to get creative ideas about how analysis can provide business value for marketing, real estate, logistics and operations, CRM, and even human resources and knowledge management. I specialize in business applications of GIS using Esri Business Analyst software for demographic analysis, customer profiling, customer prospecting, site selection, statistical market analysis, reporting, route planning/logistics, and GPS systems. Consulting and training clients include automotive shops, lawn care, hair salons, pest control, real estate, service retail, manufacturing, banking, insurance, and healthcare companies. I am responsible for consulting and project management; developing project scope, estimating costs, and coordinating proposal development; developing deliverable schedules; facilitating and defining requirements with interviews, prototype demonstrations, and use cases; writing requirements documents and application design specification documents with input from developers; managing quality control, developing test plans with MS Office; handling client communication including status reports and project meetings; coordinating invoicing and ensuring that the client’s expectations are met throughout the project.
