About Susanna Rickman

Over a decade of experience in providing crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and community resources to individuals and families in need. I am certified in SOAR, a safeTALK trainer, QPR trainer, and Suicide Support Group Facilitator, among other evidence-based practices that enable me to offer effective and compassionate support to people in distress and at risk of suicide. I have experience overseeing, implementing, and evaluating suicide prevention programs and services in the community, such as in-school trainings, critical incident stress management debriefings, and the LOSS team. I also trained and supervised a team of Suicide Prevention Specialists, ensuring quality and compliance with contracts and standards. I have presented at the State and National level on suicide prevention and postvention, sharing best practices and lessons learned from my work. My mission is to reduce the stigma and increase the awareness of suicide and mental health issues, and to create a culture of hope and healing in the community. I am dedicated to making a difference in people's lives.
