About Susanne Claus
I am an applied mathematician with a strong interest in software development. I am particularly interested in the development of numerical algorithms for complex geometrical problems such as phase-change problems, multi-phase flows or streamlining pipelines between images/arbitrary meshes and numerical simulation. My main programming languages are C++ and python. I have developed algorithms in large software packages such as Nektar++(Spectral Element Method) and FEniCS (Finite Element Method). I am currently an active developer of a mixed C++/python software package for an immersed finite element method called CutFEM based on the open source finite element framework FEniCSx (CutCells and CutFEMx) both available on github.
