A Railway and Transportation Services professional superannuated after 37 years with Indian Railways (including 5+ years with RITES Ltd. and 5+ years as IR's representative in Europe). Revived Rail Business magazine, the 10 year+ old, path-breaking effort of veteran Mr. VK Raina, along with Sudhanshu Mani as co-editor since April 2023. Also continuing as Head Strategy & Operations at AllFresh Supply Management Pvt. Ltd, a startup aiming to improve the premium indigenous fruits eco-system in India by providing best post-harvest, cold chain support to farmers, enhancing their marketing outreach and incomes. Apart from extensive exposure to all levels of Railway Administration, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, Planning & Execution, have lent expertise to RITES Ltd. for about 5 1/2 years (in 2 spells) for developing its services in India & abroad. Lastly was Executive Director in-charge of Business Development & Strategic Planning. Headed one of IR's premier Production Unit for manufacture/modernization of Diesel Locomotives employing 3800 persons and a global vendor base. An in-depth understanding of Policy and Transportation issues in India, including evolving changes in the transport scenario in India, and its management, and other burning issues.
