I LIKE BUILDING BRANDS. Whether for a company, a program or a sub-service line. Consistency of wording and imagery is my fixation. I’M A CONNECTOR. I love connecting thoughts and ideas; and then connecting people with those ideas to make them come alive. This includes securing partners, alliances and sponsorships often in a unique way. And I’m good at negotiating while keeping those relationships strong. I’M A CREATIVE. I can create but am much more effective directing creatives and seem to always fall into that role. Whether that’s branding and design, social media or messaging and taglines, I find the process of getting there almost more fun than the end result. I LIKE DATA & NUMBERS. Give me the details - data, numbers, budgets, analysis, information. Maybe it’s the years I spent with global accounting firms. Relevant and timely data makes decision-making and persuasion so much easier! Also, value for dollar is of utmost importance. I GET DIGITAL BUT HAVEN’T FORGOTTEN OLD SCHOOL. Digital marketing is of course table stakes, but there can be gold in classic marketing techniques and executions. I’M A COACH, MENTOR & FACILITATOR. I love being a coach, seeing both the big picture as well as tactics to lead there; in larger organizations, I enjoy supporting the journey, navigating the complexities trying to find ways to cross-promote and find efficiencies. Mentoring my teams gives me great joy, especially when obstacles are overcome, ideas are uncovered and wins result. I’m known for being real and authentic. I'm a marketing executive, management consultant, communications strategist and mentor with 20+ years of leadership experience with private and public organizations, professional services (Andersen, Deloitte, KPMG) and B2C organizations. I thrive leading a team that has the ability to transform the whole organization with an integrated strategy and consistent messaging - internationally. Lately I’ve been the marketing director for some new age organizations like Ghost Kitchens (multiple banner food delivery during the pandemic) and most recently Li-Cycle (urban miner and recycler of lithium-ion batteries), where I initiated a Brand Identity refresh and helped open locations in the US and Europe, including a Visitor Center in Germany. In addition, I am very active in supporting women founders and have been the chair of a GroYourBiz board since 2016 where I act as a coach, mentor and facilitator. I remain an advocate for diversity and inclusion, often speaking about women supporting women and lifting each other up. Let's connect!
