I’m Suvankar Das, a dedicated digital marketer with a diverse background in hospitality and a strong focus on driving impactful marketing strategies. My professional journey began with a degree in Hotel and Hospitality Management, which included a six-month training experience in Mauritius. This international exposure enriched my understanding of service excellence and operational efficiency. Following this, I served as a Flight Supervisor at Taj Sats Kolkata for a year, where I honed my leadership skills and attention to detail in a high-pressure environment. Eager to transition into the digital space, I pursued an MBA in Digital Marketing from the Bengal Institute of Business Studies (BIBS). This led to an internship at Kreative Machinez, where I gained hands-on experience managing sales, client relationships, and leading major projects. Notably, I managed the marketing efforts for the Kolkata Thunderbolts, overseeing both online and offline promotions for their national tournaments and promotional activities. Additionally, I coordinated internal team activities to ensure seamless execution of campaigns. I later joined Recruit CRM, initially as a Digital Marketing Trainee, and quickly advanced to the role of Performance Marketer within the Media team. Here, I manage a substantial monthly budget of over consistently optimizing campaigns to maximize return on investment and drive growth. Throughout my career, I’ve developed strong people management and leadership skills, whether leading teams in hospitality or guiding marketing projects to success. My ability to connect with and manage people effectively has been a key factor in my professional growth, enabling me to lead teams with confidence and foster collaborative work environments. My unique blend of experience in hospitality and digital marketing equips me with a well-rounded perspective, allowing me to approach marketing challenges with creativity and strategic insight.
