About Suzanne Bleck

With a background which includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, a minor in Computer Science, heavy emphasis in Math, from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, I worked for 14 years at Motorola Corporation, first as a Computer Test Engineer and then as a Senior Project Manager. My responsibilities not only included testing software for their cellular phone systems but also managing a group (15 people) who were working on the quality of these cellular phone systems. The quality was insured by holding quality assurance meetings with our vendors, both domestic and internationally, to make sure all of the needs of our customer base were met. Most recently I've been substitute teaching for the Vista Unified School District, specifically in the middle school area. During the 2015-2016 school year, I took on a long term substitute job, teaching a seventh grade English class for six months. I had to utilize many of my organizational and leadership skills, taking over responsibilities for creating lesson plans, tests, grading and holding parent/teacher conferences. In addition to this experience, I have extensive leadership, organizational and project skills and as the former co-chair and representative on the Motorola National Women's Business Council, I coordinated several Women's Business Council events, advocating Business IQ and Diversity, which included top Motorola executives, and Telecommunications Industry Analysts. My leadership and organizational skills can also be seen during years of involvement in PTA. With this experience, besides coordinating yearly budget meetings and monthly board meetings (as PTA President), I also coordinated several PTA events, including school fundraisers, dances, association meetings.
