About Suzanne Brown

Legal Practice Manager. In a past life, I was a fashion designer. I bring to a law firm a more creative view of running a business and also the perspective of a business owner and client. Being a business owner I have experience in what a client needs from their lawyers and I am endeavouring to help Etienne Lawyers achieve these goals. Etienne Lawyers strives to be on the cutting edge of technology to lower the cost to our clients. We constantly improve our processes to enhance our clients experience with the firm. It makes a difference when a firm has someone who is looking at the firm as a whole. Making sure that the new technology is useful to the lawyers and not just great for the IT department or the Marketing department is actually spreading the word that the lawyers want their clients to hear and not just sending out brochures that merely look good. I spend my time at the firm overseeing the big picture, from accounting and cost reductions, marketing and public relations, improving our IT to trying to make sure our employees are happy. It makes for a varied and interesting day. I never know what I will be doing when I walk in the office in the morning. I see my role a practice manager as one who facilitates the firm running smoothly, taking away the need for the lawyers to worry about the day to day running of the firm and just being able to practice law. Outside the office, I am a passionate ballroom dancer and with my husband compete in both ballroom and latin. We have travelled to the US and Europe for dancing. We just love it.
