About Suzanne Goh

Suzanne is a medical doctor with more than 15 years experience in the field of Paediatric Medicine, and has been practicing in the field of Paediatric Endocrinology as a regular locum since 2008. She has a passion for teaching and is deeply involved in medical education in Duke-NUS Medical School as an assistant professor. She is core teaching faculty there and is actively involved in many areas of pre-clinical teaching as well as teaching within the Paediatric clerkships. She is an experienced Team-Based Learning facilitator, and has been part of the pioneering team of TBL facilitators in Duke-NUS since their first year. She is a highly regarded educator with a special interest in teaching clinical reasoning to early medical students using an innovative method employing concept mapping. She has also won multiple teaching awards over the years. Suzanne is also a mother of a child with autism, and in her journey to help her son, she discovered an innovative method called the Son-Rise Program (R), from the Autism Treatment Center of America(R), which has brought very significant improvements in her son, and restored hope in her. Her life has been so transformed that she is now part of the local non-profit organisation, Embrace Autism, working tirelessly to bring this ground-breaking autism intervention to Singapore families. She became one of the directors in the organisation in 2016, and together with her partners, is trying to change the landscape and narrative of autism in Singapore. Suzanne is also wife and partner to Paul Chan, a deeply talented private chef. Together, they started and run "Some EnCHANted Evening", which brings mind-blowing, palate-inspiring, tummy-satisfying omakase dining right into your home.
