Worked in high security for production mainframe and open systems. I Have a passion for working with Production Support jobs, scheduling and control, working with the many different applications, applications folks and multiple schedulers. It's very exhilarating for me to follow up with issues. Work in a team environment, sharing information with co-workers. Accomplishments: Pushed for getting set project put in place for scheduled array of jobs in the input queues to run more efficiently. This included schedules for new systems as well as current on going jobs. Accumulated instructions for all systems across board to standardize them. Worked with many managers in training junior co-workers. Strengths: Working on failed batch jobs both production and non-production. Multiple software packets invoked for performing the many different tasks in Production Support. Used multiple software scheduling tools such as CA-7,CA-11, Job Track, for daily runs. Sr. Technical Analyst in getting the ABENDS going once again to keep the SLA's and OLA's, making sure ITIL was in place on multiple systems. Using my skills in the batch realm of Operations, I trained many junior colleagues in the IT operations batch pillar. Strong analytical skills to continually keep monitoring of multiple applications, systems and alerts. Most notable has been researching/trouble-shooting in the restarting of batch and the input queues of jobs showing late.
