About Suzanne Hunsaker

I started out in the Senior Healthcare Industry at the age of 18, as a certified nursing assistant. My passion for the care of the elderly population started after my grandma was diagnosed with end stage Pancreatic Cancer. Watching the bond she created with strangers that were her care staff was amazing. They were truly her second family. Knowing that I could provide that comfort to a family one day made me realize my calling. I worked hard to climb the ladder, and had roles as Lead CNA, Lead Medication Tech, Assistant Administrator, and Health Services Assistant. While I will forever cherish the bonds created through that period of my life, the COVID-19 pandemic really made me focus on the priority of my own mental health, and with that I made a switch to a WFH opportunity with an EHR company, working on the Assisted Living Team. I truly am exactly where I am destined to be, and I hope that I can continue to enhance the quality of life for the elderly in a different way. Always remember that you never know how you will impact the lives of others. So to the incredible CNA’s who cared for my grandma until the end- thank you for being the reason I am who I am today. You impacted me, and I am eternally grateful.
