Love of Spanish Love of teaching Love of helping others make things happen Love of family Underlying my choices for the different positions I've held is a desire to help others. I tutor because I love Spanish and I derive great satisfaction from giving a student the support and guidance they need to succeed in learning the language. And if a little of my love for the language and how it can connect one with other cultures and their people rubs off on my students, all the better! In the office I thrive on being in a support role. My goal is to support the director and my coworkers in such a way that they can devote their energies to their main work. I enjoy learning any new skills that help me perform better. I get a real charge when I am able to anticipate a need and fulfill that need before being asked. My family life is full of both blessings and challenges. Facing those challenges has helped me to grow and continues to remind me that I still have much to learn. I may never be able to work beyond part-time outside the home. However, if I can find balance between work and home, if I can brighten other people's lives a little bit by how I help in the office, then that brings me a sense of fulfillment.
