Dr Suzanne McDonald is an expert in the development and application of N-of-1 trials and other single-case designs in a broad range of areas including medicine, psychology, digital health and rare disease. Dr McDonald is co-chair of the International Collaborative Network for N-of-1 Trials and Single-Case Designs an organisation with over 700 members from 46 countries. Dr McDonald is Founder and Director of N-of-1 Hub Pty Ltd, a company providing consultancy and training in relation to the design, conduct and analysis of personalised clinical studies. N-of-1 Gub works with the pharmaceutical, MedTech, complementary medicine, digital health and medicinal cannabis sectors. N-of-1 Hub also works with clinical research organisations, universities, clinicians, and researchers. Dr McDonald was awarded a Distinguished Talent Visa in 2020 from the Australian Government in recognition of her ‘international record of exceptional achievement’ in the field of N-of-1 data science. Dr McDonald aims to shape the future of patient-centered healthcare, driving forward the integration of personalised clinical methodologies in diverse health contexts.
