Ms. Nicholson also has wide-ranging litigation experience in insurance coverage and bad faith actions, construction defect litigation, mechanics’ liens and other construction remedies, administrative mandamus, personal injury actions, and real estate and contract disputes. In 2018 Ms. Nicholson started her own practice, emphasizing civil appeals and writs. She was a board member for California Appellate Defense Counsel, and handled appointed dependency appeals as a panel attorney for the Central California Appellate Program and CAP-LA. In March of 2024, Ms. Nicholson joined Wilke Fleury LLP as Of Counsel, where she continues to emphasize civil appeals, and also works hand in hand with the firm's litigators preparing dispositive motions and ensuring issues are preserved for any potential appeal.
