About Suzanne Nusbaum

Hon. Suzanne K. Nusbaum, FCIArb, makes excellent arbitration awards, both nationally and internationally. Her areas of expertise include business, employment, health care, consumer and intellectual property disputes. She is a cum laude graduate of Smith College, with a JD from Boston University and an LLM in Intellectual Property Law from Santa Clara University School of Law. A former appellate administrative law judge, she serves on many ADR panels, including ICDR, AHLA, and WIPO. She annually judges the Chinese National Rounds of the Jessup International Moot Court, where she was voted "best judge" in 2011. In 2019, she judged the international rounds of the International Criminal Moot Court in The Hague, Netherlands. She has also arbitrated The Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Hong Kong and graded the final rounds of the written memorials. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and former chair of its Northern California Chapter. Judge Nusbaum draws on more than 35 years of distinguished judicial and neutral dispute resolution experience to assist counsel in resolving both their simple and most complex civil cases.
