About Suzanne Rintoul

With over 20 years of experience as a dedicated primary care nurse, I am passionate about helping people live well and ensuring equitable access to healthcare. In 2014, I co-founded the PEP - Seniors Therapeutic Centre, where I championed an innovative care model for the aging population. As a primary care memory clinic nurse since 2016, I have been committed to supporting patients with cognitive challenges. In 2021, I led the Community Partner initiative at the Mass Vaccination Clinic for COVID-19, collaborating across sectors to ensure our community's health and safety. My work extends to system-level advocacy as a member of the Lanark Leeds and Grenville Ontario Health Team Lived Experience Advisory Network. I also spearheaded the Caregiver ID project in 2022 for the LLG - OHT, aiming to improve recognizing caregivers as valuable care partners. Currently, I am honored to serve as the Executive Director of the newly appointed Perth Family Health Team, where I continue to drive forward my passion for healthcare excellence and community well-being.
