About Suzanne S.

I’ve always had a natural curiosity for technology and machinery. As a child, I loved taking things apart and putting them back together. At a young age, I was performing troubleshooting for adults in my life for complex problems even made some pocket money for my troubles. My passion for technology, machinery and problem solving continued to develop leading me to become graduate from the University at Albany with a B.S. in Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security, and Cybersecurity, with a concentration in cybersecurity and a M.S. in Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity. During my tenure at the University I was involved in countless events and projects which helped hone my soft skills and began my love affair with drones. In my current role as the Lead UAV Repair Technician at MTI Drones, I am responsible for troubleshoot a wide range of technical and physical issues for DJI drones as well as building our new website and creating a new training manual for new technicians. When I’m not working on drones, I’m either spending time with my family or furthering my repair knowledge through little side projects.
