About Suzanne Teresi

I am a highly skilled production design professional with expertise in packaging and other digital art files for print. For the past 16 years I've concentrated on production design and management for the private label, food packaging industry. My early experience in the printing industry gave me valuable insight regarding the proper construction of digital files for print, resulting in highly efficient work habits. I am extremely well versed in FDA and USDA labeling regulations. I have enjoyed working as a full-time employee, manager, and independent contractor both on- and off-site. Because of my attention to detail, one of my specialties is writing brand standards guidelines. Throughout my career, I have gained an understanding of diverse packaging types and substrates, as well as various print processes (including litho, flexo and rotogravure), and the unique requirements of each. I possess a rare combination of superior technical skills and keen design sense, a unique blend in this field, believing that “good design” is a combination of both. I strive to find the perfect balance between aesthetics and practical goals in any composition, and pride myself in my ability to adapt and extend a concept around a complete package, and across an entire product line. I am an independent self-starter with a passion for learning and challenges, but also work well within a team. I am currently working from home part-time, as I care for my toddler daughter during the day. If you are local I am able to come in to your office to pick up/go over projects when needed, but prefer to do most of the work off-site and transfer digital files electronically whenever possible.
