Experienced peacebuilding and peace mediation practitioner supporting locally-led peace and reconciliation processes in the Horn of Africa. I have 15+ years of progressive programmatic and research experience working with a wide variety of actors in Somalia, Ethiopia, Sudan, Kenya, and Malawi with a focus on peacebuilding, peace mediation, transitional justice, and human rights. I have experience working with national and sub-national governments, conflict actors, including non-state armed groups, civil society, and victims/survivors, in achieving sustainable impact in peace and reconciliation processes.
