I work with financial service providers to understand and anticipate the needs of retirement plan sponsors and their employees. With these needs as a base, I develop marketing content and strategies to present information and solutions at key points of engagement. I understand the complexity of the B2B sales process and have become a firm believer that cross-organizational collaboration is key to any successful marketing campaign. While a post-audition, “You’re good, but not good enough,” conversation steered me away, I had also hesitated because I knew it would be a tough road financially. From the highest to the lowest paid, every person has unique skills that make organizations successful, and everyone deserves the opportunity to gain financial confidence. Over the past 25 years I have: Managed a team focused on gathering institutional voice of customer, creating and integrating needs-based themes and messages into client touchpoints, and developing marketing strategies to help achieve sales and client relationship goals. Developed in-depth experience on retirement plan sponsor fiduciary and compliance responsibilities. Created and maintained resources for relationship managers to emphasize the value of existing services and provide upsell opportunities. Facilitated cross-organizational rollouts of product and service enhancements. Assigned and oversaw completion of approximately 300+ retirement plan outsourcing RFPs annually for large corporate and mid-market prospects. I look forward to several more years of creating strategies and tactics that consider the entire customer experience as providers work to attract, retain and grow their relationships and the employees behind them.
