About Suzanne Worner

I’m an experienced cultural leader with over 30 years in media, events, and screen culture. As General Manager of the Revelation Perth International Film Festival and Co-Director of UpBeat Events, I’ve worked to bring bold ideas to life—whether through world-class independent film, large-scale street festivals, or celebrating WA’s creative talent at the WA Screen Culture Awards. My background includes two decades with the ABC, where I honed my skills in communication, storytelling, and community connection. I value transparency, collaboration, and integrity in every project I lead.I’m passionate about building communities that are not only connected to their history and identity but also open to innovation and sustainability. Whether through film, festivals, or cultural advocacy, I believe the arts have the power to strengthen our social fabric and shape vibrant futures. In addition to my current roles, I continue to work as a producer and publicist in the screen industry and serve on the board of the WA Chamber of Arts and Culture, advocating for a thriving and inclusive creative sector.I welcome opportunities to collaborate on projects that grow creative communities, champion independent voices, and bring people together through arts and culture.
