About Suzette Morrow

As a creative specialist and a visual artist, I have been expressing myself through various forms of art for over 40 years. I have also been sharing my passion and expertise with students of different ages and backgrounds as an art educator for more than 30 years. Currently, I work as a freelance creative specialist, facilitating and coaching creative journal expressive arts (CJEAI) workshops and projects. I am also an art educator at Coast Unified School District, where I teach visual arts to high school students. I hold an MFA in Visual Arts from Azusa Pacific University, as well as a CJEAI Master Instructor Certification and a California Teaching Credential. My core competencies include visual arts, art education, fine art, Creative Journal Expressive Arts for social and emotional wellbeing, and curriculum development. I am motivated by the mission of empowering people to discover and express their authentic selves through art, and I value creativity, diversity, and collaboration. I bring a unique and diverse perspective to my work, as well as a wealth of experience and skills. I am always eager to learn new things, explore new possibilities, and connect with other artists and educators.
