About Sven Eckert

I’m a change management leader with passion for delivering “what’s next” and improving “what’s now”, working on the integration process of Dow Corning Corp, a global leader in silicon-based technology and innovation, into Dow Chemical. In this role I lead the manufacturing operations and ERP/SAP integration process for manufacturing plants in China, Europe and India. I’m an experienced leader, with a successful track record of 19+ years, spanning different global roles and experience in leading teams of 10-250 people. I enjoy working in a fast-paced, international business environment, which consistently provides new challenges and opportunities. Before taking on my current role, I worked as site manager for the Dow Corning site in Shanghai/China and Wiesbaden/Germany. Other past work experiences include roles in Global Supply Chain Planning, Six Sigma, Quality Management and Engineering, interacting with diverse teams, colleagues and customers globally. I have a chemical engineering degree from the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt/Germany. Specifically, my work expertise includes global leadership roles with work locations in Germany, Italy and China; continues and step change improvements using Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing; quality management (ISO/TS 16949, GMP); safety and environmental management; chemical and process engineering.
