About Sven Kampen

I believe that health is the most important thing in life (cliché), however it is not something that happens automatically. The lucky among us are born with good health, and it is our responsibility to keep it as good as possible.A healthy lifestyle does not exclude indulgence. On the contrary: sustainability only exists when space for enjoying “bad things” is allowed. The problem is that most people are never taught how to navigate this balance.In my experience, education around nutrition, movement and mental health is fragmented, oversimplified, or reduced to rules that are difficult to maintain in real life. This often leads to cycles of motivation, guilt and drop-out, rather than long-term change.Through my work in a clinical environment and my background in Human Movement Sciences and mental health care, I try to approach health as something that should be understood, not imposed. My aim is to translate scientific knowledge into practical insight, so people can make informed decisions — especially when life is busy, demanding or imperfect (this is, of course, always the case)!
