Mechanical Engineer (Dipl-Ing.) with specialization in thermal machines and energy technologies; in addition various educational company trainings (economics, leadership, contracting, six sigma, etc) • 15+ years successful sales- and project management experience within the consulting and energy business including renewables; for products and components, complete power plants as well as in service organizations (incl. upgrades and operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts) with proven sales record • Power of attorney to negotiate and sign EPC, Components- and O&M Contracts for assigned projects • International experience in establishing the contractual framework with customers and in leading the technical, commercial and legal contract negotiations both on working level as well as on management level • Well trained in all project aspects: from business development, analysis of customer requirements, defining the strategy, competition analysis, SWOT, risk assessment, offer preparation, definition and calculation of commercial parameters, negotiation, up to contract preparation and contract signing • Proven experience in developing and leading international project teams and in coordinating local organizations, as well as coordinating/interfacing of supporting functions (legal, insurance, taxes, financing institutions, ECAs, etc.) • Leader of various initiatives, like six sigma projects for cost reductions, prefeasibility/marketing studies for investment decisions and process optimization, lead of strategic projects, roadshows for business development, management studies for better contract terms, training of sales staff, etc. • Project management experience including cost controlling and claim management • International experience in Asia incl. China, Oceania, Europe incl. Russia, North- and South America, Middle East • International assignments in Malaysia for 4 months, Australia 2 months
