I am an accomplished, collaborative, and results-driven Finance Leader with 15+ years’ multi-faceted experience across financial management, business partnering, procurement, and continuous improvement. I have driven significant top- and bottom-line financial results for predominantly global mining giants BHP and Anglo American. With proven results in inculcating enterprise-wide financial discipline, I cultivate dynamic, high-performing, and empowered geographically-dispersed teams, fostering an impactful culture of performance, accountability, collaboration, and trust. I am adept at developing robust business and financial strategies, and mobilising change via organisation transformation. I have expertise in building and institutionalising finance planning, ERP, procurement, and vendor management tools, and streamlining processes for effective business and financial reporting. I am also experienced at deploying advanced data analytics to elevate decision-making, with extensive exposure to taxation and mergers & acquisitions. With strong strategic thinking with excellent communication skills, I partner well across matrix organisations – influencing key stakeholders (including C-level executives) in pivotal decision-making.
