I have been working as an entrepreneur since 2008 when I founded my company Tasc Finland Oy Ab. For the first 10 years the business has been very industrial battery oriented. Selling and installing industrial batteries in different industries. However, from the beginning of 2019 I expanded my product portfolio to cable locators when the 3M company in Finland outsourced it`s 3M Dynatel cable locator after sales and support functions to my company. After 3M Dynatel cable locators came into the picture. Training customers to use and benefit from specialized equipment has started to play a growing role in my daily work. Today I also service cable locator equipment, train and consult cable locator customers and resellers not only in Finland but also in the other Nordic countries like Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. The importance of precision mapping of subsurface assets is growing rapidly. I am happy to say that in august 2023 I signed a distributor agreement with ProStar Geocorp, in the field of precision subsurface mapping software solutions. This agreement substantially strengthens the business of locating and mapping subsurface infrastructure assets in Finland and the Nordic countries. Working together with Prostar and 3M allows me to provide my Nordic customers with state-of-the-art technical solutions, equipment, and training in the field of subsurface asset mapping combining cable locators and GNSS equipment using PointMan mobile precision mapping software. I am also looking for new technical products and solutions to expand my business.
