About Swapnil Kamble

Dr. Kamble works in early stage of translation medicine. During his PhD, he has developed a panel of biomarkers for molecular classification of high grade serous ovarian adenocarcinoma. His current interests include discovery of anti-cancer molecules from high medicinal value plants, their modifications to improve their efficacy; development of scaffolds to evaluate in a better in vitro models; and pre-clinical evaluation of small molecules. He uses cervical, breast, and hepatic cancer cell lines and small animal models to evaluate their efficacy. In close collaboration with government organizations and startups in healthcare, he has worked in quantifying anti-cancer effects on plant-based molecules and its potential role in management of side effects induced by chemo- and radiation- therapy. The product is now being commercially marketed.
