Develop & strategize research and technology scouting requirements with product groups and regional BUs (Pumps, HPGR, Hydrocyclones, Crushers) 2. Develop projects scopes, and complete project initiation package that involves (business case, project contracts, project planning, budgets, risks & mitigation, resource planning (Cross functional), timelines, communication & escalation matrix etc,) 8. Academia, industry partner evaluation for specific expertise relevant to organization 9. Manage research projects within organization, with academia & industry partner through customized PM process 10. Conduct technology landscape studies, challenge development, future technology study relevance to business, strategizing research focus for organization Engineering Analysis 1. Develop engineering analysis capability (FEA, CFD, DEM & Structural) 2. Drive engineering analysis Center of Excellence roadmap across division 3. Connect with global businesses, review requirements & outline the support needed 4. Review software and hardware requirement, license management in support from regional and global IT 5. Quarterly progress review on the roadmap with global stakeholders 6. Outline training requirements for specific analysis 7. Drive coupled (Multiphysics) analysis methods 8. Manage team, outline development plan for team members, track progress & provide support wherever needed 9. Explore new technologies, drive analysis automation and computational programming Additive Mfg. Drive additive requirements for organization, prototyping & testing of components 2. Develop additive manufacturing suppliers based on the process and materials 3. Explore new technologies in additive space, evaluate and build the landscape for relevant 4.
