About Swaraj Kumar

I’m a pragmatic engineer with 3+ years of experience building data pipelines, automation, and intelligent systems using Python. My career started with IoT and embedded systems, where I designed and taught IoT-based automation and robotics workshops across leading colleges in Bangalore — training students in Arduino, sensors, and connected devices. I also led the Innovation & IoT Lab at DBIT, mentoring student teams and driving industry-linked projects.Building on this IoT foundation, I’ve transitioned into Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). Today, I focus on creating practical AI-powered solutions — from summarization and Q&A bots to semantic search (RAG) pipelines with embeddings and vector stores.Key strengths include:IoT & Hardware Systems: Arduino, home automation, robotics, connected devicesPython & Automation: ETL pipelines, scraping, data workflowsGenAI / LLMs: Prompt engineering, embeddings, semantic search, model APIsData Visualization: Business dashboards with Power BICommunity & Training: Conducted 10+ IoT workshops, mentored AI learners, led innovation labs My journey connects the physical world (IoT) with the intelligent digital world (AI) — giving me a unique ability to build solutions that bridge devices, data, and decision-making.If you’re hiring for GenAI/LLM engineering, AI product building, or IoT-AI hybrid projects, let’s connect.
