About Swaroop Elamon

For the last several years I have been working both independently and collaboratively as a writer-director creating short fiction films documentaries and other video content. My experience extends to script consulting and video editing enriched by a background in theatre and formal education in Film Direction and Screenplay Writing. I have worked on films in English Tamil Hindi Malayalam and Kannada bringing diverse perspectives to my work. I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Film Direction from LV Prasad Film & TV Academy a Certificate in Digital Marketing from York University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science from Delhi University. At Sakala Collective I directed and produced numerous short films infomercials music videos and documentaries. As a freelance Social Media Coordinator/Producer at Karuvachy Films Canada Inc. I boosted brand visibility and engagement through digital content production. At OLG - Ontario Lottery and Gaming I ensured regulatory compliance and operational efficiency in web-video production. Additionally I produced and directed acclaimed short films at Inji Films. I wrote and directed episodes for the 'Ekam' web series at Journeyman Films.
